In 2019-2020, Ukraine provides vaccination against ten diseases.
Vaccinations for children
The hepatitis B vaccine is administered to the baby on the first day after birth. Babies receive the second dose of the vaccine in the second month of life, and the third, the last, must be administered at six months.
The tuberculosis vaccine is administered on the 3-5th day of life.
Vaccination against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio is carried out in a similar way. The first vaccine is administered at two months, then at four months, another at six months and the last vaccine is given at 18 months. Against diphtheria and tetanus, vaccinations are also given at a later age – at 6 and 16 years. A polio vaccine is also given at the age of 6 and 14 years.
Vaccinations for measles, mumps and rubella are given to children twice – a year and six years. It is introduced into the body when the child reaches the age of 6 years.
Vaccination against hemophilic infection is carried out at 2 and 4 months, and then a year.
Vaccinations for adults
Adults should consult a family doctor to find out the correct vaccination dates. He knows when to get vaccinated in Ukraine in 2020.
